Detailed description of Pinehurst Resort & Country Club -No.8
Pinehurst Resort & Country Club is a premier golf facility that boasts nine (9) 18-hole championship courses located in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The courses are Numbered No.1 - No.9.
Pinehurst No.8 opened in 1996 to commemorate Pinehurst's centennial year. Tom Fazio, the course designer, incorporated signature Ross features into the design of No. 8, including dips and swales around the greens, sloping greens and false fronts. The greens and tees are close together, making it a pleasure to walk. As the site of the Club Pro Championship in 1997 and 1998, it is a proven championship course that daunts and delights all who play it. Located approximately 2 miles from the Main Clubhouse, it is a celebration of all that golf has imprinted on Pinehurst's history.

This Place Was Very Beautiful, nice concrete paths, fairways lush, greens were hard and fast. bunkers everywhere. 1 forced water carry and a couple marsh carries. if you play it, Practice up your bunker play. overall it was amazing. if you plan to go to pinehurst make sure you play this one. Bring alot of money. because they want all you can give them.

A couple blind tee shots. Many other beautiful courses in area. This was second time here (other years ago). High slope is accurate.
